John & Jen

7:35 p.m., April 4 - 6 & 2 p.m., April 7
Music by Andrew Lippa, lyrics by Tom Greenwald, book by Lippa and Greenwald
Directed by Dennis Clark

The story of Jen, and her relationships with the two Jons in her life, is an original musical that takes a look at the complexities of relationships between brothers and sisters and parents and children. "John & Jen" is set against the background of a changing America between 1950 and 1990. The music is scored for piano, cello and percussion by the composer who also wrote "The Addams Family Musical" and "Big Fish."

Always a Bridesmaid

Aug. 22-24, 29 & 30
Written by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wooten
Directed by Andrew Maples and Laura Connolly

A lively ale of four loyal and determined women that answers the questions "just how far are you willing to go to keep a promise to a friend?" If you have ever seriously questioned the mental stability of the duo saying "I do," or been forced to wear the world's ugliest bridesmaids dress, this delirously funny comedy is definitely for you and ... and your dearly beloved!

Sylvia

7:35 p.m., Oct. 3 - 5, 10 & 11
Written by A. R. Gurney
Directed by Dennis Clark

Greg rescues a dog named Sylvia and brings her home to his wife Kate who is looking forward to some independence now that the couple has reared their children. Kate is less than thrilled by the clever and coquettish canine who jumps, slobbers, sits on her couch and takes Greg's attention away from his marriage. A smart, silly, sophisticated and occasionally salty comedy about relationshops, nature and growing older.
